    Drunk History via @flimsin

Drunk History. This is genius in conception, when I think about the very, very many times that people have sat down and tried to explain to me some really complex corner of history, or science, that they know backwards, while shitfaced. I love clever reckless people who know stuff and are flexible with it.

It's almost genius in execution too, but I think the acted scenes should be played completely serious, with only the lecturer very drunk, to maintain the disjoint between content and presentation. Bah, details! You be the judge, I hope there are many more Drunk History installments, and many emulators.

Also: Drunk Science please. In this shits and giggles economy, consider that a COMMISSION.

    Instant update:

Sorry, I'm an idiot, there are loads of these, "2010 called they want their meme back" etc.

They're mixed. One has an expert vomiting in it which is quite good. Okay, my updated direction notes: we need older academics, ideally heads of department, presenting drunk. Most of these people are too young, and (afaict) comedians who know about history.

Haha this one is good tho, and played quite seriously.

I like to do drunk maths at people. My favourites are the irrationality of the square root of two, and the uncountability of the real numbers. They're both easily provable from first principles whilst hammered, and are quite mindblowing if you've never considered them before. Numbers that aren't fractions? One infinity bigger than another infinity? =)

If anyone wants to bring me a bottle of whiskey and a video camera, I'm game.
